Adopting a stray pet is a matter of love, not just paperworks an logistic. So the first thing to do, if you would like to adopt one of our strays, will be to get into contact with us. This way we can get a first impression of how you and your future friend will match and if his or her new home will suit all needs.
There is a lot we can do to make adoption as easy as possible. Whenever you adopt a pet from us, it will be vaccinated, chipped and it will have an official EU pet passport for international travel. For any pet adopted from us we ask you for a donation to at least cover these veterinary and document costs.
Then, we will have to arrange for the three of us, you, your new friend and someone from our organisation, to meet. We don´t like to give our strays away into new caring hands without a personal impression, who will be taking care of our protegee.
If you can come around to the Argolida area, we can arrange for a meeting here. But we can also arrange for a different place to meet.
Many of our strays are adopted in the Netherlands or in the area of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. There we mostly meet at Amsterdam Airport, for travel and transport are quite affordable and we can give your a good estimate of the transport and travel costs you would have to cover. Other locations are also possible, but they have to be arranged and calculated very individually.
