What is a day like at our shelter?

Do you wonder what it takes to care for our 30 shelter dogs every day? Like all dogs, they need protection from harm, clean water, good food. Enrichment, exercise, health care and the freedom to enjoy themselves and express natural dog behaviours. So of course, this takes a lot of time and effort! Our shelter is physically falling apart, but we still do our best to provide all that they need each day. Many times people don’t understand why we refuse to take in new dogs until we can have some adopted. It is not that we do not want to help more dogs, but simply of we overcrowd our shelter we will not be properly helping any dogs there. And that is not fair for them. Thank you for your ongoing support!
