FACTSHEET: ALL ABOUT Milo

Milo is really quite sweet and playful. He is a bit shy of new people, however once he loves to watch what everyone is doing. He even greets us with a ball in his mouth in the morning when we arrive. He also walks on leash with volunteers and enjoys it. He can be handled and walked by strangers too, he’s just a bit more nervous about it. We hope to find him a calm home with the patience to wait until he is ready to show his cheeky personality.
Milo was in a ‘public’ shelter in Argos years ago, however it was overcrowded and dangerous – dogs were fighting, even killing each other. We managed to take in some of those dogs to for care and safety in our shelter. He has been with us many years now and deserves a chance for a good life.

We are aware of the trauma experienced in the other shelter. He does want to play with them but is a bit much at first sometimes, so it has to be the right match. |
Behaviour around cats: | He will bark at passing cats but we have not had a chance to see if he would chase or hurt them. |
Behaviour around kids: | He is shy with new people, but should be fine if the children are managed. |
