A big step to improving animal welfare in our municipality is recognising every animal as an individual, a sentient creature with thoughts and needs. So we have created a way to showcase the beautiful dogs and cats that call the streets their home in Argos-Mykines, through our street dog & cat map.

You can submit dog / cat information and a photo of local street dogs / cats who are cared for, which helps them to be recognised and also to reassure people that they are cared for.

We can use the information to see if there are neighbourhood dogs and cats that need sterilisation or vet care, and we can help to make arrangements.
